Who should report an auto insurance claim?
Anyone can report an auto insurance claim. However, it is usually best if the driver or the covered person who knows the most about what happened makes the initial call to the report the accident and file a claim
If the policyholder calls in the claim but was not the driver at the time of the accident the insurance company will want to speak with the driver and get their description of the accident as they determine liability for the claim damages.

Once on this page find your insurance carrier and click on their name and you will see their customer service number and claims number come up so that you can call for customer service to ask about your specific policy, coverages, etc. There also is the claims number listed which you can call to file a claim or to report an accident in which you were at fault and that someone else may be calling to make a claim again your Liability coverages.
Your insurance company's claims phone number can also be found on the insured’s insurance card. Some of our carriers have online claims service that you can get to after you log into your account. Currently, the following carriers offer the ability to track or file a claim online:
